National Roads Authority launches new tolling information website

On 28th April 2014, the National Roads Authority (NRA) launched eToll.ie. The website, which has replaced TagCompare.ie, will serve as Ireland’s leading impartial and informative tolling information website.

eToll.ie combines a cutting edge on-site user experience with easily accessible content to provide road users with a concise online resource for tolling in Ireland. The website will serve both the active Irish motoring community and tourists who plan on driving in Ireland during their visit.
Users can conveniently navigate through Ireland’s different tag providers and the services they offer right the way through to step-by-step guides on how to install a tag in their vehicle. Clear visual guides, in-depth information on toll rates and a comprehensive FAQ section ensure eToll.ie delivers a robust educational experience.

Visitors with no previous knowledge of tolling in Ireland can easily access the website and quickly source the information they need to choose the best tag provider based on their specific requirements.
Ireland’s transport infrastructure has changed radically since the first tolling facility was introduced in 1984. There are now eleven tolled routes throughout the country. eToll.ie has been created in line with this continuing evolution and will serve as the focal point for tolling in Ireland.
