What is the Data Exchange Platform?
To support the Alternative Fuels Regulation's (Regulation (EU) 2023/1804) goal of sharing high-quality, real-time data relating to EV recharging infrastructure, Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) has developed a Data Exchange Platform (DXP) to provide static and dynamic data from all Charge Point Operators (CPOs) via the National Access Point (NAP). For more information visit our Frequently Asked Questions.
How to Register on the DXP
The below process details how CPOs can register with the DXP

The registration form can be found here or can be requested from TII’s Data Office by emailing AFIRdata@tii.ie.
Send DXP registration form to TII’s Data Office
Once complete, send the DXP registration form to TII’s Data Office by emailing AFIRdata@tii.ie.
Establish an Open Charge Point Interface Connection
CPOs must establish an Open Charge Point Interface (OCPI 2.2.1) connection.
Test and Validate OCPI
TII’s Data Office will collaborate with each CPO to test and validate that their data connection meets the OCPI 2.2.1 connection requirements.
Data Made Available on the National Access Point
CPOs data from the DXP will be made discoverable on data.gov.ie (Ireland’s Open data Portal which serves as the National Access Point (NAP) required under AFIR).
