M4/M6 Kilcock - Kinnegad Motorway
The project was assessed for suitability as a PPP following the Government's pilot project announcement on 1st June 1999. It was later included in Tranche II of the PPP Roads programme, approved by the NRA (National Roads Authority) in June 2000.
The project involved constructing 39 km of motorway from Kinnegad to Kilcock, extending the Kilcock-Maynooth-Leixlip motorway on the N4/N6 Sligo/Galway to Dublin route, bypassing Enfield and Kinnegad.
