TII achieves Investors in Diversity Bronze Accreditation

Why is this award significant?

The Investors in Diversity accreditation is a nationally recognised benchmark that assesses how organisations are embedding diversity and inclusion through their policies, leadership, communications and workplace practices. Achieving Bronze demonstrates that TII has established a solid framework to support an inclusive workplace culture and has shown a clear commitment to ensuring all employees are treated with dignity, fairness and respect. This achievement is a significant step forward in delivering on TII’s commitment to fostering a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected and supported. It also provides a strong platform from which we can continue to develop our EDI programme and work towards future accreditation levels.

What did TII do to achieve the accreditation?

TII submitted evidence demonstrating the progress made across a number of key diversity and inclusion areas. The assessment highlighted the strong range of policies and supports in place across the organisation, including our Diversity & Inclusion Policy, Dignity at Work Policy and a range of family friendly and flexible working policies. A further area of strength identified during the assessment was our investment in learning and development including EDI focused training undertaken by both employees and leaders such as neurodiversity training for managers and awareness training for all staff on neurodiversity.
