Irish Tolling Revenue Data

National roads and motorways are a vital asset in the social and economic fabric of our country, having a direct replacement value of more than €31 billion. The cost of care and maintenance of these assets is rising, and funding these costs represents an increasing challenge.

Toll income paid by users of the M50 and Dublin Tunnel contributes directly to the upkeep and maintenance of our national road and motorway network.

Toll income on the eight toll concession roads is used to repay the construction costs of these roads as well as for the ongoing upkeep and maintenance of these sections of motorway and national road.
