Monthly Traffic and Electronic Toll Collection (ETC) Tag Data

The interactive bar chart below outlines:

  • Total monthly traffic at each of the toll plazas in Ireland

  • Total monthly electronic tag transactions (does not include M50 video transactions)

  • Information is updated monthly and is typically one month in arrears.

Toll Plaza Average Daily Traffic

The bar-chart below illustrates the average daily traffic for each toll plaza in Ireland from 2010 onwards.

Given seasonal travel trends, it should be noted that the average daily traffic for the current year will fluctuate until the full year's data is available.

Guide to downloading data

Step 1: Click the Download button to display the available download options.

Step 2: In the download menu, select Data.

Note: If the Data option is unavailable or greyed out, click anywhere within the relevant visual or table to select it, then repeat Steps 1 and 2.

Step 3: The View Data window will open. Select either Summary or Full Data, depending on your requirements. Then click Download in the top-right corner of the View Data window to download the selected dataset.
