Minister of Transport invites applications to fill the post of Chair of Transport Infrastructure Ireland
Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) is a dynamic, forward-looking organisation at the forefront of delivering the transportation infrastructure that underpins Ireland’s economic growth, regional development, safety, and quality of life.
The Minister of Transport invites applications to fill the post of Chair of TII. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide leadership and guidance to an ambitious organisation, influence the delivery of major public investments, and help shape the future of transport connectivity for generations to come.
Working on behalf of the Irish State, TII leads the planning, development, delivery and stewardship of significant national road projects and public transport delivery through both the Luas light rail network and, until such time as a Special Delivery Body has been established for the next phase of the project, MetroLink, a transformative piece of new public transport infrastructure, the first of its kind in Ireland.
All of these national transportation investments will continue to shape a more connected, sustainable, and resilient future for the country. As Ireland continues to experience population growth, urbanisation, and the transition to a low-carbon economy, TII is playing a pivotal role in delivering transformative infrastructure programmes of strategic national importance.
