TII welcomes the Government's “Accelerated Delivery Action Plan”

As a transportation infrastructure delivery agency, TII welcomes the Government's “Accelerated Delivery Action Plan”. TII is one of the delivery agencies that provided a redeployed expert to DPER ensuring TII’s experience has fed into this important work. This action plan will remove obstacles and reduce bureaucracy that delay the country’s ability to provide needed improvements and projects across the National Roads Network, the Luas Network, Active Travel/Greenways and MetroLink, as well as assist in decarbonising transportation by expanding the EV recharging infrastructure network across all National Roads under the ZEVI programme.

TII, working with our Local Authority partners and the NTA looks forward to assisting the Department of Transport and the Government in delivering for the country. As a transformative piece of new public transport infrastructure, the first of its kind in Ireland, the MetroLink team particularly welcomes this action plan as a critical enabler of continued progress and delivery.
